Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador said Monday the government is studying what to do about growers of opium poppies who have been hit by competition from synthetic opioids, suggesting that some sort of legalization scheme might be possible.

Asked about legalizing marijuana production — a bill for which is now before Congress — López Obrador said the question also involves opium poppies grown illegally in some parts of Mexico to make heroin.

“As far as commercializing marijuana and opium poppies, the decision has been made to undertake a thorough study of these crops,” López Obrador said.

I read that in the late 1800s there was an attempt to grow opium in Kansas. It turned out to be too labor intensive so the crops failed.

Just bring in some Afghan farmers and FBI specialists to set them up.

Good

Maybe they make vicodin too.

Woke up with the worst hangover thus morning and could have used one.

The hangover was not from drinking but bruxism.

It was so bad last night it woke me up 530am .

Neck, jaw, teeth, eyes, headache.

Took 3 hours to get out of bed

Knowing Mexico's pharmaceutical quality, maybe they're thinking of bringing back Mrs. Winslow's Soothing Syrup

A friend of mine from elementary school (read about it in the paper) planted a field with opium poppies (for “crafts”), got caught, and the DEA issued an order to seize his property (which was substantial). A year later he had a heart attack and died.

You could use a Nightgard. I was about to replace mine as I also have bruxism, then I thought about the price.

Nightgard tailormade by Dentist: Aprox. $500. w/no insurance
Boxer’s Mouth Guard from Big Five retailers: Approx $5.00

Don’t worry the CIA does not like competition.
They are not going to let a bunch of Latinos cut into the profits they are making on Afghanistan Heroin.

Too bad they don't protect "their" turf from Chinese fentanyl.
