I thought the Ark was in a warehouse awaiting evaluation by ‘top men?’

Buddy, if those “top men” lifted The Mercy Seat on the Ark, they met the same demise as those abominable degenerates that did the first time, including everyone surrounding, and the first time since ancient Biblical times.
But it’s just a movie.
Uzziah was struck dead from touching it, the Philistines ran it away from them on a cart with a donkey because it was plaguing them, and the list goes on.
The Presence of The Lord is now with mankind, as Christ Jesus gave His Life so that anyone who receives Him as Lord and Savior, will have His Spirit dwelling with their spirit.
So the Ark is artifact alone if indeed it is still on earth.
Revelation tells that The Ark of His Covenant is in Heaven. So when the Third Temple is built during the first three and one-half years of The Great Tribulation, as a seven-year peace is established via the anti-Christ, the Jewish Chief Priests and the Temple Project will construct a replica of the Ark of the Covenant. Sacrifices will commence, until that “man of perdition” halts it at the 3 1/2 year point and seats himself in the Holy of Holies of the rebuilt Temple—proclaiming that he is God.
Scripture does not tell us that there is even an Ark - type rebuild within the Third Temple, only that the anti-Christ seats himself in the Holy of Holies, where the Ark of the Covenant in ancient Biblical time was shielded from view by a thick, heavy curtain.
I also learned something very recently, that the Bible states that “one of the heads of the Dragon looked as if it had received a mortal wound.” Looked as if is the key.
Of course Satan can’t raise anyone from the dead. But the whole thing can be faked to the hilt with tech we don’t even know about yet.
