Then we should have fixed it, when that was possible. As far as I’m concerned, once a group advocates operating outside of our constitutional system (in this case, pushing for a parallel society, based on Sharia; in the case of Communism, pushing for an outright overthrow), then they should have been stopped.
As it is, no one stepped up to stop Communism after McCarthy was wrongly lambasted for trying...so the country is gone, they used our freedoms to defeat us. Very smart of them, in my opinion, at least.
AS far as I’m concerned, they can advocate for whatever they want. Redress of grievances and all that. But of course anyone who advocates for the abolition of the Bill of Rights should be laughed out of the town square. Or tarred and feathered. Or chased to the woods with pitchforks.
