GOP leaders in the Florida state legislature reportedly helped revive and approve a controversial ban on transgender athletes participating in women's sports at the high school and college levels.
Language was added as a late amendment in the state House to charter school legislation, the Herald Tribune reported Wednesday night.

“Controversial.” No. It’s not. It’s common sense.

Well, there are at least 56 gender identities discovered so far. And the liberals tell us, we are too focused on crotches and genitals in determining one’s gender identity.
I agree this is absurd, but that is how the liberals and their cheerleaders in the media look at this.

And if you think about it, this law doesn’t “ban” anything or anyone from competing.
What this law requires, is that biological males compete with males, and biological females compete with females. Everyone is free to compete if they desire. All this does is say that the biological males must compete against other biological males.
If all these liberals take issue with what is common sense to most of us, then it calls into question why we even have separate female sports teams at all. Just let everyone compete together, if we can’t make the common sense distinctions between the two sexes.
Excellent! Georgia had a bill that passed the House and the RINO/Democrat/Dork who is our LT Gov kept it off the calendar in the Senate. He is said not to be running again which is unfortunate since he needs to have his a$$ beat.
Imagine being a female athlete, training really hard, putting in all that work, only to be stomped out by a man.
All so called “trans” people should go and create their own “trans” sports and play in it.
It is good to see other states seeing reality, unlike the kook governors in the Dakotas. Nice to see there are some people who live in real life.
Every time FLA does something like this it drives us even further towards the place. We had a house in Melbourne fall through late last year but we’re headed out in May to try again.
SD and AR were afraid to do this.
What does the word controversial mean? Everything in America is controversial, including praying to God to straighten this mess out.
I think Arkansas overrode the governor’s veto.
