Why Did George W. Betray Team GOP?

"In 2020 I boldly declared that Trump was the only thing standing between our country, the American people, and socialism. I turned out to be correct," said George P. Bush in announcing his candidacy for Texas attorney general.

Nearly 75 million Americans agreed, but his uncle, George W. Bush, was not among them. It is likely that if George W. had said what George P. did, the Democrats could not have "harvested" enough votes to put their man over the top. But he didn't. The result, as George P. pointed out, "was over 30 trillion dollars in total spending and 6 trillion in next year's annual budget." And that is just the fiscal damage.

In the year 2000, some 50 million people elected George W. Bush president. Despite his failings, almost all hung with him and re-elected him in 2004. They understood that politics is a team sport. They may not have loved their captain, but they understood he was better for the country than the other guy. The sports enthusiast Bush is, one would think he'd get the concept of teamwork.

He did not. At least, he did not seem to. In his bestselling campaign book, Battle for the Soul, Edward-Isaac Dovere gives us a glimpse into what Bush was doing and saying to sabotage Trump and betray the millions of Americans who had backed both men during their presidencies.

"The two presidents hadn't talked much in the months since Obama left office," writes Dovere of Bush and Barack Obama, "though their staffs, along with Clinton's and George H.W. Bush's, were on email chains that featured rapid-fire Trump mocking and consoling one another over the state of the republic." As someone who voted for both Bushes, reading this made me cringe.

Dubya knew which team he was on. He just put an R-jersey over his D-shirt.

The Bush clan only knows the Bait & Switch Act in politics.

I remember the day Old Bush took office in 1989, courtesy solely to Reagan and his successes - Bush had lost statewide races in Texas and could only win a solidly Red House district in Houston. He talked about “kinder, gentler”, a euphemism for we can go back to big spending, wasn’t Reagan mean, and took a swipe at Vietnam veterans by saying there was a statute of limitations for everything (the first thing Carter did was pardon the draft dodgers, the first thing Reagan did was praise the Vietnam vets). The man was a no good ingrate from the start and so was his son, only I will say the old man was booksmart intelligent, the son was, and is, dumb as a brick.

The Bush family was involved in every political scandal of the second half of the 20th Century, and maybe one before that. Trading with the Nazis should have been disqualifying for the head of the clan, but wasn’t.

BS. No words from GWB could have come close to overcoming the massive fraud of the Left.

Daddy also arranged the weapons for hostages and sank the U.S. Poet, the merchant marine ship that delivered the weapons to the Mullahs. All on board gone without a trace. A good friend of mine was one of the crew. He had 16 brothers and sisters in his family. He was 24 years old. 1979 / 1980.

I’m not a conspiracy theorist but always found it strange that Bush Sr. was in Dallas the day of the JFK assassination but for decades couldn’t remember where he was at the actual time of the evil deed. He is pinpointed in a photo as being there 90 minutes before the event occurred but years later claimed he was in another town that would have required him to drive at 90 mph to get out of Dallas and arrive in that place. Every one of us that was alive at that point remembers where we were, if you were five years old in 1963, you remember it plain as day.

An out of power Uniparty (R) hack, like GWB, had no power to affect the Uniparty coup. The employed Uniparty (R) hacks in DC (90+% Of DC GOP) could have stopped it 1/7. The DC GOP hacks who were climbing over each other as they scrambled, publicly, to get aboard the Uniparty Coup Express could have stopped it. The GOP is more responsible for the fascists in control of DC than are the Uniparty (D) insurrectionists. To hell with the party of Judas.

And I believed in George W. when I voted for him. Wish I never did vote for him. And will never trust another Bush again. They are not for the people only for themselves sorry to say.

So did I. I voted for him in 2000 and 2004, but he disappointed me when he did not fight back against that arrogant pos occupant of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave Barack Hussein 0bama. I could understand to stay out of it while he was president, but when that pos became president he should have told him to stop it. But he didn’t. I was glad that Vice President Dick Cheney gave 0bama many times a piece of his mind.

George W is a traitor to all of us who once supported him. There is no lower person than a traitor. A murderer is less to fear.
