Nah, because Miller and because Trump.
Twitter ‘competitor’ is probably too charitable. Twitter has been in business since 2006. In the ensuing 15-years, I believe it turned a profit in just two of those years. It’s lost money every other year including an eye-watering loss of $1.1 just this past fiscal year on close to %4B in revenue.
Social media platforms are ridiculously expensive to do right. As of yet, none of these conservative Twitter replacements have anywhere close to the funding it would take to put a scratch on Twitter’s user base. Wish it weren’t so, but it is.
Trump leaving Twitter hasn’t caused damage to them.

None of these ventures will work until there is a MAGA app store, MAGA web hosting, MAGA cloud services, etc. This one will have the same fate as parlor and gab, i.e. allowed to technically exist but not allowed to be used on any popular device, not allowed access to needed web infrastructure.
Cool.
For now at least, it appears to be hosted on US servers. So, that’s an improvement on Parler.
The mere menion of Google will have people staying away in droves.

Parler was destroyed by Big Tech and Big Courts because it had the potential and momentum to eviscerate Twitter/Facebook.
