The nation's top infectious disease specialist made the suggestion because the state's vaccination rate is the lowest in the nation.

Mississippi’s seven day average deaths from Covid number has been under ten since March. If there are numbers that show low vaccination areas have drastically higher hospitalization or death numbers, which would show unequivocally how valuable high vaccination rates are to the population, why is the story always staying with the vaccination rates?

Not mentioned in all this is that the reason the vaccination rate is so low is that such a large part of the population is black. The vaccination rate among blacks is very low.

First, masks are useless. Never mind idiots who don’t even wear the stupid things correctly. They are like trying to keep out dust with a chain link fence. Even the sainted, sacred, made of the highest quality in China, “N95” super-masks that will protect you from incoming asteroids and Chernobyl glowing graphite. It’s all shite. Nothing but virtual signaling and theatre. It’s worse than useless because it causes vulnerable people to think they can hang out in crowded situations with an absolutely false sense of security.
Second, even if we pretend that the mask BS isn’t actually an outright lie, if people get COVID at this point, it’s their own fault. I’m not wearing a mask for someone who willingly chooses to not get the vaccine. Have fun with COVID. Enjoy the nasty cold and sniffles, and .1% chance of dying. (or even less if you’re not already on death’s door and under 50)
This isn’t airborne ebola and we need to stop acting like it is. Pandemic’s over. Asses up, back to work!
