Hanson on woke agenda: ‘Top-down movement’ organized by ‘largely wealthy people’
General Dispatch ^ | 18 July 2021 | Victor David Hanson/Fox News

Posted on 07/18/2021 3:39:35 PM PDT by Candor7

Hoover Institution senior fellow Victor Davis Hanson discusses op-ed that calls out the Democratic Party as 'the party of wealth,' suggesting Republicans need to make the argument that they're 'the party of the middle class.'

Wokeness comes from the elites who are wealthy and who cannot be effected personally by the policies they promote such as defund the police, or radical energy policies that drive up fuel prices. The elites have enough money that they can buy their own protection without relying on police.Similarly they are wealthy enough that fuel prices and inflation do not effect their life style These woke policies do not effect the elite, they have negative impact on the middle class.

The entire woke movement is elitist and since corporations have picked up the woke movement,as well as professional sports leagues, they echo the elitist polices that have no effect on the elites who espouse them. The Republican Party is now the party of the working man, of the middle class. The Democrats follow the policy of elitism.

Ping to Hanson’s reveal of how wealthy elites are driving the radical woke agenda. Soros is a prime example. Soros is not alone, its a whole social movement against the middle class of America.

The Lear jet leftists expect to form the core of the global Inner Party. There they will continue to enjoy the finest foods and most advanced gadgets the world has to offer....while deciding your fate for you.

If you work very hard and show them your unwavering loyalty, you might be permitted to join the global Outer Party. You will be allowed occasional servings of meat, and air conditioning (on a rationed basis).

The rest of us will eat insects and swelter. “For the good of the planet.”

I can buy my own protection too.

A Mossberg 590S costs less than $300.

Agreed. Read up on what it meant to be a Made Man in the mafia. I think that is very close to what it’s like to be part of the swamp. Swamp persons cover for each other and get a cut of the spoils, like book deals, speaking fees, government contracts, etc.. Even the Swamp’s children are protected, assured attendance at the best colleges and lucrative jobs after graduation.

The ZIP Codes That Rule America!:
BY: MICHAEL LIND, DECEMBER 16, 2020

The real divide isn’t between red states and blue states or cities and rural areas.

It’s between mega-rich political donors and everyone else.

In theory senators represent the citizens of their states and members of the House represent the people of their congressional districts. In practice they represent individual and corporate donors and political allies and future employers, who may live anywhere in the United States—or in some cases abroad. Joe Biden was the senator from the credit card industry, based in Delaware.

The donors to American politicians in all 50 states are concentrated in a few ZIP codes. According to Open Secrets, of the ZIP codes that delivered the most campaign funding for the Democrats in 2020, not counting dark money or soft money for liberal groups, four of the top five were in New York City (10024, 10023, 10022, 10011), followed by Chevy Chase, Maryland (20815), a suburb of Washington, D.C. Other top Democratic ZIPs this year were Silicon Valley (94301 and 94022) and Cambridge, Massachusetts (02138).

New York City was also overrepresented among donors to the Republican Party, whose donor base is more geographically diverse, with a lot of money coming from Dallas, Atlanta, Las Vegas, and Palm Beach, Florida.

Most politicians follow the preferences of their donors, not their voters, when there is a conflict. “Who buys my bread, his song I sing,” as the old saying goes. Or, if you prefer another proverb: “The Golden Rule is whoever has the gold rules.”

“When the preferences of economic elites and the stands of organized interest groups are controlled for, the preferences of the average American appear to have only a minuscule, near-zero, statistically non-significant impact upon public policy.”

Are we stuck with only 50 stars on Old Glory from now on? Except at the margins, it doesn’t matter whether there are eight Californias or just one. Nor would it make much of a difference if D.C. or Puerto Rico became the 51st state. We can draw state borders however we like and add or subdivide states if we choose. But to the extent our influence is limited to voting, most of us are just renters in American politics. The donors, wherever they happen to live, own it.

Regardless of what may,or may not, have been true 60 years ago today's Rat Party is the party of the obscenely wealthy, the trust funders, perverts and welfare parasites.

OTOH,today's Republican Party is the party of the middle class and the working class. They live almost entirely in the suburbs and in rural areas. That's why Harris/Biden has vowed to destroy the suburbs by bringing the city's welfare parasites to live there.

To me wokism is a tell that the election was stolen because ethnic minority communities are definitely NOT woke. They are about the least woke people in the country, and we should believe that they came back from the dead to vote for this woke regime? Really?

Yes, scions of the elites who perpetrate woke on America. We won’t be putting up with it much longer. Thanks to MAGA.

These elites are full of hate for President Trump. They know that he can be elected ion 2024, and they hate him for it,and these elites will go to any length to prevent President Trump’s re-election.

But most of all they need to be exposed for the un-American tropes they are. That exposure is crucial.

I believe some of the people in this photo to be the most raciest people on the planet..

Maybe the plan is to spark an all out, no holds bared race war.. That would cause a serious drop in population and a very weak USA.. All of which would please most of of the folks in this group.. (maybe)

You have it backwards , black folks are leaving the dem party in droves because of wokeness. Black communities want police, they do not want defunded police forces.

The MAGA movement is picking up support from Black Folks, they are not woke or subject to leadership by elitists such as George Soros, the ANTIFA Whities and BLM Marxists. The Dem party now represents elites, not ordinary black folk. The news is out/

I agree. It boggles my mind that people—any people—vote for these swamp creatures. That said, I know several who voted Biden, because Trump was a meanie. That really surprised me since I when I asked these voters about key policies like immigration, taxing and spending, foreign entanglements, American industry first, etc., they aligned with Trump on nearly every one. Then again, Trump was “mean.” Crazy, right?

That was my point. Minority communities hate wokeness. Whether they are religious, gang-bangers or something else, homosexuality isn't considered normal in those communities by and large. It's incredible to believe that they voted for this crap.

I like VDH but he consistently fails to make his incisive dissection of The [Democrat] Party palatable to 8th graders.

When he made the rare appearance or two on Rush, it was very much a Buckley v Rush convo. And yet Rush could take a VDH piece like this and craft a shitton of WIN.

We have a void in the marketplace and we need someone to come out of nowhere and fulfill Rush's role.

Just turning back the clock to how the rackets were administrated in the empires of old. The ruling class, then the serfs, peasants and slaves that serve them.

“President Trump has changed the elitist GOP to one whichi represents ordinary working middle class Americans. Victor Hanson is on t something.”

The electorate has moved that way for decades. Trump was the first R politician to figure out that D’s were the party of the rich and the envious poor. The middle class was R. R politicans knew it but saw it only as a way to pretend they were in favor of things the middle class favored. Trump was also the first presidential candidate since Reagan not to despise the middle class.
