Doesn’t want Elder in recall race, because he knows he will lose.
The California Elections Code 8902(a) refers to a “direct primary election ballot.” By its plain text, it does not apply to a recall election, which is in a different division of the Election Code (Division 11, not Division 8). A co-author of the law already publicly admitted he “didn’t contemplate” that the law would apply to a recall.
Further, Larry Elder did not redact his Social Security number. He argues that it was the Secretary of State’s prerogative to do so, but his failure to do so applies only to him.
Besides the NAACP hates Larry Elder’s guts, he’s way to conservative for them.
