Massive Energy and Power Crunch Coming Soon as U.S. Coal Producers Have Already Sold Their Coal Inventories for 2022
Our Gold Guy ^ | November 3, 2021 | by JD Heyes

Trump as the president worked to revive the coal mining industry because even though fewer and fewer power plants utilize the fossil fuel domestically, there is a massive global market for coal in the developing world. China and India, for instance, have voracious appetites for coal as most of their power plants coming online burn coal to generate power (and they do that because coal is far cheaper than natural gas and nuclear power).

But because the Biden regime is being run by insane leftists whose agenda includes crashing the country so they can rebuild it in their Marxist image, American coal production is taking a hit again just as demand for coal is skyrocketing thanks to renewed demand following the COVID-19 pandemic.

Only, there isn’t going to be enough to go around, unfortunately, and that will result in a dramatic loss of power for wide swaths of the country that still depend on coal-fired plants for their electricity.

— What’s more, high demand coupled with low supplies equals inflation: Higher coal prices. And in fact, coal prices are already up, as Bloomberg Green noted.

— If power plants can’t get coal, many of them will burn natural gas. But it, too, has dramatically increased in price, so our electric bills will go up. They already are.

— If the Biden regime manages to get enough Democrats to finally come together and pass his massive spending bills, there will be “historic investments” in green energy production. But as we’ve seen in Europe, too much reliance on green energy is dangerous because wind doesn’t always blow and the sun doesn’t always shine. Plus, green energy is far more expensive to produce.

Hmmmm, we’d better get advanced on the guillotine parts (wood/steel/leftist quality tie downs) for Bastille II which is guaranteed to come should this really occur.

Oh, sell tickets to the “ceremonies”. You’ll make billions and billions.

There is an aluminum shortage because of lack of coal. Montana has stopped producing car tags because of lack of aluminum and is looking at re-tooling for plastics.

Massive jump in utility bills is the next nail in the coffin of “Empty Shelves Joe”.

Three big truck loads a least. We are now in SHTF territory here...

Just hope Santa has enough stockpiled to give to the Dems and BLM types in their Christmas stockings. It’s all they deserve.

A single 230gr .45cal ACP HP is far cheaper than building millions of guillotines.

If they’ve already sold their inventories, we’re screwed. There’s no way to get more. I mean: coal doesn’t grow on trees.

I have two lefty adult daughters who responded "poorly" to my text informing them of my termination due to refusing the clot-shot.

They are on their own now unless I have to save them from something big.

All this means is that we will have to get creative on how to stay warm this winter.

Thanks Brandon.

I remember in the old days when the raised numbers were stamped out in the steel plates by convicts at the penitentiary. In salty NE Ohio, when they went to multi-year plates with update stickers, those things would really rust.

Atlas ping.

The Danagger coal intended for Taggart Transcontinental was sent to the People's State of England. This meant that fruit and vegetable trains sat on sidings in California, and the wilted produce ended up in the East River, not the Hunts Point Produce Terminal in Brooklyn. The farmers went out of business, but nobody cared because they were family farms, not collective farms. The coal never got to England because Ragnar Danneskjold intercepted it at sea. Then Danagger shut down his coal mines.

Plastics made from EVIL petroleum?

Unless our trajectory changes, count on the rationing of electricity, less for white rural areas, and much more for rat cities.

Oak pallets are the gold standard:)

I had one once. If it had been in better shape I would have run it through the planer and made something out of it.
It had an admirable end in the BBQ.

A lot of but's per lb in those. Whenever I needed green wood to burn that oak pallet wood got it dried out quick!

I have a friend who planned them out thin and lined his RV with them. Really looks nice. :)

Not the blue ones though. Those are called “Shep Pallets” and have a $40 deposit no questions asked. :)

That may not be a bad idea if they last longer than the painted aluminum ones.
