The Satanic Temple's first-ever convention will be held in Scottsdale over the weekend, drawing both Satanists and protesters to Old Town.

The convention will start at 2 p.m. Friday at the Saguaro Hotel near Indian School Road and Drinkwater Boulevard and continue through Sunday afternoon.

Actually, I was just wondering if this crowd would house pedophiles and the like.

We had a local bookstore for kind of new age/metaphysical stuff. The owner was written up in the local new age paper, with a brief mention of him as being a satanist.

I and my boyfriend, this is back in the 90s passed by it. It was then located catty corner on a small street, looking rather intriguing, and we went in to browse.

A lot of new age things, crystals, incense, trendy health books, posters, a very small store. The owner was behind the counter and as I passed him, boyfriend tucked away in the other end of the store, smiled and said something to me and started some sort of small talk.

I had no idea of his being a satanist at that time. The article on him was not written yet, but he gave you the feel of someone like Rasputin, very creepy. Very dark. I still remember those eyes going over me and that kind of smirk.

I think their is more to the satanist crowd then just the I’m so trendy, bit. Why would someone go there, after all.

The school superintendent of a suburb of uber woke Austin, TX said just days ago that 1/3 of the student body this year is from the CA invasion.
