President Joe Biden left the White House for his home in Delaware on Friday afternoon, despite an escalating Russian invasion of Ukraine.
The president plans to spend the weekend at home, even though some criticized him for the optics of not caring about the ongoing conflict or the current state of the country by leaving Washington, DC.

Given where we are it is probably just as well. He may do less damage at home although all the CIC tools are available to him wherever he goes.

Biden is not really in charge anyways. I suspect Biden has to go back to Delaware every week because of his dementia and home is the only place he really feels comfortable.
