Controversial feminist author Jill Filipovic is preaching the “overwhelmingly negative consequences” of stay-at-home moms — and social media watchdogs are coming for her.
Filipovic, 38, detailed her stance that these mothers create “worse, more sexist” men — and women who are “psychologically and emotionally worse off” — in a now-viral Twitter thread published on Tuesday.

“The problem with paying people to stay home with kids, though, is that (1) we’re overwhelmingly not talking about ‘people,’ we’re talking about mothers; and (2) pushing women out of work comes with overwhelmingly negative consequences,” begins the thread by the outspoken author of the 2020 book “OK, Boomer, Let’s Talk: How My Generation Got Left Behind.”

Conveniently omitted is the fact that single mother households create children with immensely higher rates of psychological damage/maladjustment, higher propensity for drug and alcohol abuse, are disproportionately represented in crime statistics and prison populations and consume an ever-increasing amount of government services.

As a woman who chose to stay home with my son, I am triggered.
I’d love to get in that heifer’s face.

I gave up my career in IT for a city when I had my son.
My husband and I decided we didn’t want him raised by strangers.
It was a huge sacrifice in terms of monetary wealth. I’m sure she turn her nose up at our modest home and cars,etc.
But guess what you self centered, useless, rode hard and put up wet, whore, I’m happily married going into year 35. My son is serving his country and is a staff sergeant in AIRBORNE. I’ve been blessed. We were a family through Little League, Boy Scouts (den parents for 7 years) and more sports and after school activities and I was there for all of it. I didn’t return to work until he was in high school, because damn dumb females like you ruined public education and we went private.
Her and her ilk have done nothing but spread propaganda and misery throughout their pathetic, miserable lives.
Her types needs to be loved tenderly by a running rusty chainsaw embedded with Ebola, rolled in prickly pears and left for fire ants.

A stay at home mom is more important and rewarding than any job or career - to the children most of all.

This woman must not be talking to the right people. I suggest she speak with my daughter-in-law and my other son’s girlfriend, and ask both of them about my two sons. DIL is often thanking me for raising such a kind, supportive, and loving husband. My other son’s girlfriend is similarly fond of his sweet and kind nature.
