I agree, most people don't want gays "targeted", but at the same time, I'm not going to pretend that homosexuality is normal. It's not. Yes, it's always been with us, but so has cancer. That doesn't make if normal.
And I'm sure as hell not going to use the term "Gender Affirming Surgery" instead of the accurate term "Genital Mutilation Surgery".
You bleedin’ idiot. Gay has nothing to do with grooming except to those who WANT to tie the two in order to preserve their personal ability to groom.
Anyone conflating the two is a closet groomer.
I’m sorry, you cruise ship aficionados, if some taxpayers do not want alternate lifestyles taught to young children.*
*In reality, the DeSantis bill didn’t go far enough: no prurient sexual issues should be taught to young children.
My former embarrassing state of Maryland also upheld gay marriage in a referendum.
So this guy wants people to talk sex stuff to his first grader without his knowledge? Hmmm….
I’m a basic TV aficionado, but I haven’t hooked it back up since I moved into my new home in Florida in January. Between Newsmax accepting NIH money to pimp the shot and Hollywokesters supporting Disneygroom in its opposition to the Parental Rights in Education Act, TV has basically been ruined for me. As far as I know, no service around here has One America’s Voice, which may be the best game in town.
Welcome to Florida 😃 I’m in Ft. Lauderdale. Where do you reside?
Wo gives a damn what old vile NeverTrumpers 'feel' about anything? Today we call his type 'democrat'...
The Florida law is NOT anti-gay - it's not anti-S&M, it's not anti-sucksex.
The law basically says no sex education for kids in grades K - third grade.
If Tim Miller thought there'd be a backlash against the parental rights legislation he would be happy because Tim Miller hates the Republican party and he hates the Republican base.
We should all be thankful he stands with Nancy Pelosi and Joe Biden. He's a loser.
Pensacola, in the Central Time Zone. We do still get a little winter here, but it’s actually bearable, unlike Maryland.
Everyone I know is sick of these disgusting perverts with their anal sex and teenager grooming so they don’t run short on pretty boys to perderast. I am fine if they would just STFU and go back in the closet.
We have 2 seasons here.
Hot and really HOT!
Hurricanes suck, but stick with the good ol boys and they’ll educate you.
Again, welcome!
I’ve already ordered impact windows for the house. Unfortunately, between the supply chain problems and tons of demand from all the people moving down here, I have a while before they’re installed, hopefully sometime in August or September, when the dreaded destructive swirly thingies are at their bloody worst.
So I will have to see about putting protective film on all the glass or getting some boards as an interim measure.
Whatever you do don’t use ygrene. They put the price onto your taxes and you’ll have issues if you try to refinance , sell the property, or pull a HELOC loan. You could always go with hurricane shutters. Got them installed on my mom’s place for about $1500, big house, lets of big windows.
Impact windows are very heavy and are hard to break, the fire department hates them.
I don’t really have a choice. The windows I have don’t work. If the fire department has a problem, maybe they’ll enjoy me roasting inside my own house because the windows don’t work and I can’t escape. This is something I had to do. My original plan was to go with shutters.
And I also bought a fire extinguisher, and have the extra funds for the windows.
And I’m using a company called Folkers. I have no idea who ygrene is.
OK, never mind, I looked it up. I’m not using Ygrene. Obviously a short-term, environ-MENTAL disaster, given what you told me about the liabilities. I’m simply using impact windows, funded with my own money, manufactured in Alabama and shipped to my home. And they will save energy on their own, without any Ygrene, but thanks for the warning.
You can be assured that if the Republican Party members ever hit on a winning issue, the GOPe will do everything they can abandon it.
Rather, they say, the push for legislation is the latest iteration of post-pandemic conservative organizing around public schools and is similar to the move against teaching what conservatives have characterized as “critical race theory.”
Two things. Equating and reinforcing the equivalence of mental illness and race, and pulling the ol' switcheroo with CRT. They came up with the theory, conservatives just call it out when it is being shoved down our children's throat.
