I miss those days. I also miss pre social media times.
I miss people being cordial to one another as well.
IOW, you (and I) miss *privacy*.
It is indeed telling how little younger people care about their own privacy.
I don’t want to know about every half wit celeb-u-tard’s baby bump, I don’t want to see their selfies in G strings, I don’t want to hear about their promiscuity or see their tats. I don’t want to hear the gory details of their health problems, real, imagined or self inflicted. Or look at their surgically modified bodies in digitally enhanced photos telling me how beautiful they are - which they certainly are not. Beautiful or better looking than I am.
I don’t want to hear their personal relationship “issues”. If one can’t get along with their spouse or “partner”, shut up. And I do not want to hear about their perverted sexual hang ups or the sick chemical and surgical mutilation they are inflicting on their children.
Whew, I feel better getting that out. /Grin
