Former President Trump announced his endorsement of Rep. Thomas Massie (Ky.) on Tuesday, after previously calling for him to be kicked out of the Republican Party.

“Congressman Thomas Massie is a Conservative Warrior for Kentucky’s 4th Congressional District!” Trump wrote in his statement. “An MIT graduate and a first-rate Defender of the Constitution, Thomas fights hard to Protect your Liberties, especially the First and Second Amendments, which are under siege by the Radical Left.”

When circumstances and/or data changes smart people reassess. How do you handle it, Lexi?

Massie was right. The movement is becoming bigger than Trump. Trump is smart enough, in this case, to make the change. Trump needs to do the same in PA and dump OZ

I believe it was not Trump that made changes.

And I have come to understand why (at least why I think) he backed Oz.

I don’t think he can ‘dump’ Oz. Trump may be a lot of things, but he seems to keep his word. And while there must be people he resents and thoroughly distrusts, he seems to seldom keep a real grudge against someone.

People need to get used to this about Trump.

With all your wisdom, I just don’t understand why Trump hasn’t tapped you as an advisor. (That’s sarcasm, just in case you don’t see it)

People need to get used to this about Trump.

Why? It's part of the overall package when it comes time to decide who to support in the primaries.

Probably because I’m not a failed reality star that will stab him in the back? (That’s not sarcasm, just in case you were wondering)

When he dis-endorsed Mo Brooks in AL, a moderate Republican has instead taken the lead in the latest poll.

So, Massie cleaned up his act.

Would have been nice if Trump would have taken a tiny bite of crow. He certainly didn’t mind mentioning previous harsh words when it came to JD Vance.

Massie is awesome and was way better on covid than Trump.

Massie was right about that bill he was complaining about.

So, Massie cleaned up his act.

He had nothing to clean up.

Trump corrected a mistake without admitting a mistake.

All good now though.

Trump, who in 2020 called for Massie to be ousted from the GOP over his opposition to a $2 trillion coronavirus relief package the then-president was pushing Republicans to pass.

“Looks like a third rate Grandstander named @RepThomasMassie, a Congressman from, unfortunately, a truly GREAT State, Kentucky, wants to vote against the new Save Our Workers Bill in Congress,” Trump tweeted at the time.

“WIN BACK HOUSE, but throw Massie out of Republican Party!” Trump said in another tweet.

Of all the people that should be thrown out of the repub party, Massie is not one of them. I hadn't heard of this before. Trump sure was/is proud of the Warp Speed thing.

Trump sure was/is proud of the Warp Speed thing.

He was told by "experts" that a quickly developed vaccine would be a net benefit and believed them. He didn't suspect that they were lying to him for political advantage and financial considerations.

Millions could die in a matter of weeks. Look at them dropping dead in China. Must shut things down. Must have mail in voting and ballot collection boxes or we’ll all die.

Meanwhile here in rural MO, kids went back to school in the Fall, prior to the election, no masks, no distancing. When I voted in person, there were three elderly women running the polling place as usual and none of them were wearing a mask in Nov 2020. No one was in this area really. We saw it for the farce it was but when all you know is whatever happens on the East Coast, Left Coast and in the cities and watch the MSM, you miss a lot of reality.
