I was in Nebraska last Nov. and Dec. and all I saw were Pillen signs. A veterinarian is a trusted figure to farm and ranch families who depend on them, and in Nebraska no endorsement compares with Pillen having his former coach Tom Osborne campaigning for him.

That helps explain things. A veterinarian is also unlikely to misidentify a cow, a bull, or a steer, even if he is associated with a university. This is a good start. I’d take a random vet over a random shrink any day, especially, to rip off a line from Marx (Groucho) if I needed my head examined.

What exactly is bad about Pillen? The article says nothing about him, other than implying that he is not a known groper of women.

Signs?

A lot of good it done him. Winning 33.9% of the vote is pathetic with the Establishment dumping millions of dollars into the campaign and buying off another conservative to run against Trump’s guy. If there was a runoff (there should with such disgraceful totals), Herbster would win easily.

An endorsement from Tom is hard to beat.
