They will also learn to shun problematic peers so as not to inadvertently “misgender” them and get into trouble with the lunatics running the asylum. If I were a parent and couldn’t place my children somewhere else, I would instruct them to steer well clear of any “trans” peers. It’s like being forced to walk through a verbal minefield.
