The freedom of speech is under attack everywhere, and it’s not clear which side Dr. Mehmet Oz, the Trump-endorsed candidate for a Senate seat from Pennsylvania, is on. We have the Disinformation Governance Board, the Jan. 6 Committee, ongoing claims that Trump supporters are all “white supremacists” (and “white supremacists” are the nation’s biggest terror threat), and rampaging social media censorship. In that environment, it’s crucial for all candidates, especially America-First candidates, to affirm their support for free speech. Instead, Oz has just called for his primary opponent to be barred from the race, not for any criminal activity or, say, dual citizenship in a hostile nation (Oz is a Turkish citizen), but for something she said in 2015.
Oz has already criticized his principal opponent, Kathy Barnette, for “Islamophobia,” a made-up word designed to inhibit criticism of jihad violence and Sharia oppression, and one that is in common usage among Leftists but rarer among patriots. On Saturday, however, Oz went even farther, charging that Barnette should actually be banned from running for the Senate, and presumably for anything else, because she doesn’t have a sufficiently positive view of Islam.

But I think it’s disqualifying to make Islamophobic and homophobic comments, not just for the general election, but the Republican primary as well.”
Islam is a cancer on humanity.
Truth hurts.

If anyone should be banned, it’s Dr. Turkey. I’ve had enough of this creep and he hasn’t even won anything yet.
I do not get Trump’s support of this clown. I would take the Rino over him at this point.
That was NOT a bright move on Oz’s part. It puts the focus on his own Islamophilia. Trump made a bad pick here.
We are Americans.
We have the God given right to insult other people.
It is called freedom of speech.
Now matter what anyone says, someone somewhere will be offended, you cant please every one.
Restricting all offensive speech will turn us all into mutes, and restricting speech offensive to only some will turn us into a tyranny.
I think for his comment, Oz should be banned from the race, but this is America and he can say what he wants and offend who he wants (he certainly offended me).
I just hope he offended enough people such that they wont vote for him.
YEP!
Oz keeps throwing out hints. But too many people (including Trump) aren’t listening.
Trump needs to ‘change’ his mind and FAST!
NO OZ. Never did like him even before I knew he was
a ‘you-know-what’. They can wait for years and play games
getting people to trust, then WHAM!
he sounds like the current crop of liberal commies running around cancelling anyone who says something they don’t like. Disturbing to hear him say that.
I dont think I would vote for Oz.
I usually lean toward the idea that a moderate Republican is better than a Democrat.
Not always, though.
I think that this may be one of those exceptions to the general rule.

If he thinks Barnette is guilty of Islamophobia, then he must think Trump is too. Has he rejected Trump’s endorsement?
Oz needs a Zot
Trump’s endorsement of PA State Senator Mastriano for Governor was solid.
But maybe he needs to rethink his Oz support.
We are hearing that the PA GOP is a POS and they are dead set against Barnette.
Everything Barnette said about Obama and his Muslim leanings was true.
That said, Trump needs the PA US Senate seat and looks willing to let Oz slide.
Don’t know what to make of it so far.
Barnett is on Bongino, knocking home runs with every question.
Islamophobia is not a made up word. It means ‘fear of Islam’. And here is the reason -
Simple Rules of Engagement with Muslims -
If Infidels are present, Sunni with unite with Shi’a sects to enslave (physical, sex, monetary), convert, and annihilate all Infidels.
If no Infidels present, Sunni will turn against Shi’a until one or the other is enslaved or annihilated.
The rising population of Muslims over 1200 years shows the effectiveness of their tactics.
