For Ritchie Herron, a bright and articulate civil servant from Newcastle, life over the past four years has become almost unbearable. It takes him ten minutes to empty his bladder, a process as painful as it is slow. Any sex drive is long gone. In fact, he says, his crotch is numb, ‘shell-shocked’ from the damage done to him under the apparent care of the NHS.
‘Numb’ rather sums up Ritchie’s whole demeanour as he struggles to process what has happened to him. Today he reveals – in an exclusive interview – that he is the man preparing legal action against the NHS over an operation that removed his genitals.
Ritchie’s case emerged last week when he posted about his experience on Twitter under a pseudonym, TullipR. His brief testimony, which was picked up by the Daily Mail, was as shocking as it was damning for the NHS ‘gender clinics’ that help people change sex.
Battling mental health issues – and after decades of suppressing his homosexuality – Ritchie, 35, had thought the answer was to become a woman. But instead, he says, he was fast-tracked into making ‘the biggest mistake of his life’ and left infertile, incontinent and with ongoing pain.
Not only had the NHS clinic failed to take into account his spiralling mental health crisis, he claims, but it had also failed to properly counsel him about the risks.

“Battling mental health issues...”
Huh.
Shapiro pointed out the lefts hypocrisy.
The left banned Conversion Therapy (well sleepy joe did) because they argue young people who take it are at higher chances for suicide and mental health issues.
People who are trans already have much higher mental health issues including suicide. I mean it’s kind of obvious: If you want to cut your Peter and Cojones off you are probably crazy.
Kid says he couldn’t admit to himself he is homosexual, so he went with the next best thing, gender dysphoria, and not one professional argued with him. Wrecked for life physically...
He made the decision.
He needs to own it and stop blame shifting.
I read a few years ago that 46% of LGBTQ ppl were mentally ill, including depressed and suicidal. That percentage remained the same AFTER undergoing a sex change operation. Social media needs to be held accountable for the damages they’ve caused to our young ppl.
I doubt the medical community is even allowed to counter him in any way.
His surgery may have turned out badly because of complications. Or, because he didn’t get the greatest surgeon.
Which, gets me thinking about how it seems that sexual leftists want the government to force doctors to carry out Trans drugging and surgery here and in the UK. It’s as if in their fantasy world, the medical services they want are always available if surgeons could be ordered to perform them at the snap of a finger.
I think that if I wanted to transition, I’d look for a surgeon who was sympathetic and had a reputation in this area, rather take an unhappy doc pressured by government or hospital administration.
It’s a bigger decision than forcing someone who finds it abhorrent to bake a cake or photograph a gay wedding. Wouldn’t you want the service provider to be into and proud of his work?
That said, I think this wanker would soon become unhappy, even if the surgery went well. He acted like he was just trying on a suit of clothes. Not a serious person.
They blame their suicidal depression on homophobia. They're simply not being celebrated enough. The solution is more Pride! events.
Lets see, ill get the surgery I always wanted and then turn around a sue because I didn’t want it and be able to live a comfortable life without working a day

Most probably have an endocrine disorder. Women who suffer severe post-partum depression have an endocrine issue. It was, in all likelihood, not diagnosed because they didn’t run the ACTH stimulation test (second tier testing). The endocrine system impacts so many different parts of the body and brain, from energy, to digestion, to sexual development, to mental health. It is not surprising that people with gender dysphoria experience depression; both are signs of the endocrine system breaking down.
As a mother of a child that is part of the 1% born intersexed, I know first hand that the medical system is now all about affirmation and not about curing patients. The “system” ran countervailing experts out of the field so they could Frankenstein children.
For my child, there is no cure. For many thousands of others, they are being butchered without cause.
It’s heartbreaking.
Government-supplied sex-change operations.
Not a good idea on many levels.
If God made you a man, don’t expect a mere human being to do as good a job trying to turn you into a woman.
Must be a great first thought when you come out of anesthesia.
It seems to me the left is just conning people into thinking it’s cool to sterilize themselves.
Mrs. Garrison
Hello doctor, looks like I need an abortion. [sits on the chair and puts his feet on the stirrups]
Doctor
...an abortion?
Mrs. Garrison
Yeah, I’ve got one growing inside me. Now, are you gonna scramble its brains or just vacuum it out? [a nurse arrives and her jaw drops] ...If you want you can just scramble it and I’ll queef it out myself.
Doctor
Mmister Garrison-
Mrs. Garrison
[correcting him] Mrs. Garrison.
Doctor
Mmrs. Garrison, you can’t have an abortion.
Mrs. Garrison
Don’t you tell me what I can and can’t do with my body! [gets up, goes to the nurse, and hugs her] A woman has a right to choose!
Doctor
No, I mean you’re physically unable to have an abortion, because you can’t get pregnant.
Mrs. Garrison
But I missed my period.
Doctor
You can’t have periods either. [Mrs. Garrison looks surprised] You had a sex change, Mr. Garrison, but you don’t have ovaries or a womb. You don’t produce eggs.
Mrs. Garrison
[sits down] You mean, I’ll never know what it feels like to have a baby growing inside me and then scramble its brains and vacuum it out?
Doctor
N-that’s right.
Mrs. Garrison
But I paid five thousand dollars to be a woman. This would mean I I’m not really a woman. Ih, I’m just a... a I’m just a guy with a mutilated penis!
Doctor
Basically, yes.
Mrs. Garrison
...Oh boy, do I feel like a jackass.
This seems to be a recurring theme with men who self identify as a woman (trans) and have ’healthy’ sex drive. When they undergo the ‘operation’ (basically castration and removal of the penis turning them into eunuchs) they discover to their horror that they no longer have a sex drive.
Well, duh! What do they think would happen after castration and loss of testosterone?
I don’t know how sex drive works with (real) women, so I don’t know if massive doses of estrogen might help recover some sex drive for the (idiotic) poor fellow.
