Absolutely. Michael Pillsbury all but calls him by name when referring to academics who were suckered by China.
I got tired of Chang's exceptionally lame analysis when they trot him out incessantly on Fox, so now I change the channel or at least mute it when he appears.
Pillsbury is smart, but don’t forget he’s part of the Deep State/CIA crowd that was behind Afghanistan.

Hmm. All I know about Pillsbury is what I read in his book. But I certainly agree with your assessment of Afghanistan.
Isn't it odd that America's 2 longest wars abut or overlap the world's major poppy-growing areas: the Golden Triangle (Vietnam, Laos) and the Golden Crescent (Afghanistan)?

Well, I don't give two figs about what they want.
I want a government that cares about what my American brothers and sisters want, and one of the most important things we want is no more wars for the benefit of alien peoples.
Wow. I never thought of that. Absolutely right.
However, he was probably correct re the 'China collapse' he predicted except he didn't properly factor in the ability of a communist police state to control all aspects of political, civil, commerce and statistic reporting and thus keep a sinking raft afloat.
Ditto to underestimating the extent to which a supposedly sane western world would continue to fuel the Chinese economic engine via offshoring their manufacturing...iow, the extent to which China could buy off the corrupt Western politicians and big corp CEOs.
