Dent was my Congressman. Over the years of visiting DC as part of my veterans organization (www.kpva.org) I met with Dent in the early years.
But as time went on, his positions changed. It seemed to me that it was in order to get the guest calls from TV stations. I would also guess it was for inside the beltway parties.
The last few years he stopped meeting us and started sending his aides.
Once Trump became President he revealed himself for what he was - an assistant Democrat
And then he quit before his term ended. I always comment when I see his name attached to anything and I remind him first and foremost that he’s a quitter.
I can’t stand a quitter!
Where was his district? Pittsburgh suburbs? I remember him from Penn State. He was a Phi Psi. Actually saw him at a tailgate one year before he was elected. Never knew him well enough to form an opinion, but I certainly have one now.
