Candidates in red, can’t lose district will crawl over glass to get Trump’s primary endorsement, because it motivates republican votes. Republicans in in tight races sometimes don’t want it, and for good reason, because Trump involvement also motivates liberal votes. Glenn Youngkin being a good example of this.
