ROME — U.N. General Secretary António Guterres warned Thursday that the world is headed for a “global catastrophe” thanks to manmade climate change.
“Droughts, floods, storms, and wildfires are devastating lives and livelihoods across the globe,” declared the U.N. chief, adopting some of his most alarmist rhetoric to date. “Loss and damage from the climate emergency is getting worse by the day.”
In a video circulating on social media, Guterres lamented that “global and national climate commitments are falling pitifully short” while asserting that the “window to limit global temperature rise to 1.5° is closing fast.”

Not that long ago, all the “scientists” agreed that the 2 deg C will be the catastrophic limit.
Since there is a pause in global warming, they need to lower the break point so now it is 1.5 C, a whole degree of F lower!
Anyway, the basis point is taken from preindustrial era, the little ice age of about 1800.
What the heck is wrong with these people? If it gets too hot then just turn down the thermostat and stay inside. Easy peasy.

This is to inform you, that during your retirement from the work that you did, in order to establish our United States, the Congress plus other minions of the government, academia (including ‘public education’), and what we had been calling “free enterprise” but is now a tryanny of political-correctness . . .
Have collectively given rise to a belief that the Congress has the ability and the authority to set the temperatures of the land, the sea, and the air.
We are told, that within just a few more years, the earth is a terminal risk of “global warming.”
That assumes, all the aforementioned experts (the tyranny), have an exact reference point regarding what the temperature is supposed to be.
If you may imagine that the Congress has a notion of building a gigantic temperature control, for the land, the sea, and the air . . . then brother, YOU GET THE POINT !
