I wonder why that is. Are democrats’ lives so full that they cannot be bothered to go to the polls on election day?

(I know the response: democrats, hard workers all, are oppressed by cruel bosses and have to work two or three jobs to survive in this horrible capitalist society).

Somehow FDR got elected four times without the benefit of mail-in voting, absentee voting, etc. etc. And the nation knew the results of his elections the night of the elections. But we can’t be expected to do that now. It might take several days to ‘properly count all the votes’.

I just dropped mine off at the Sheriff’s office. Three eagle eyed senior election workers inspected the envelope to verify that it was dated, signed, and sealed, and watched me drop it in the box.

A lot of people were dropping off their green envelopes at the polling place instead of mailing them.

It’s not hard to get it right.
