IF Texas does secede-—I predict at least 26 or more other states joining them.

Works for me.

I’ve tried to stay positive here in New York, but if the sh** is going down in the USA, blue states will become unlivable. Please keep the door open for me, Texas, until I get there.

I want nothing to do with anyone who votes for a democrat. They simply want that democrat to then use government to hurt me.

They keep talking about Texas, Texas, Texas....the largest and longest secessionist movement is actually in Hawaii- but they won’t talk about that because it may embarrass ayatollah obama and the rats.

Balls. Try paying reparations to Mexico, instead, in the form of land. It was unjust to take from them New Mexico, California, Arizona and Nevada. Give them back, and build a wall around them to keep those pesky leftard Anglos from trying to escape and push their warped agenda some more.

Texas, however, should stay in the Union. They won their independence in a war of their own, despite the odds lopsidedly favoring Mexico, and we need their spirit to keep America free. Besides, they’re deep red.

Let’s form our own state, Ma! “The Free State of...’

No cars. We’ll ride horses & my mule. We need a temperate climate where we can grow food a good part of the year. And a greenhouse. And lots of young, strapping men to do the heavy lifting. ;)

Methinks the left will be “left” with just those sorry-assed areas that show up red in the voting tablulations. This leaves us (where “us” is composed of the folks that actually think and make things) with a rather easy job of daring the asshole left to come out of their cities and face deportation after we cut off their water, power, and food. And believe me, we WILL cut off their water, power, and food. And watch the fun.

Signing on to become a member of the United States was never meant to be a suicide pact.

It’s time.

I think you're right about that.

"Texas v. White, an 1869 Supreme Court decision that ruled unilateral state secession is unconstitutional"

What in the Constitution indicates that?

In 1862, the South Carolina State Legislature voted to nullify the act of entering the Union, an act of the South Carolina State Legislature. Why was that unconstitutional?
