Facebook, Twitter stocked with ex-FBI, CIA officials in key posts

WASHINGTON — Dozens of former national security officials have gone to work for Facebook and Twitter after leaving government service, raising concerns about the influence of their onetime agencies over the social media giants.

At Twitter alone, at least eight former FBI agents work at the company’s so-called “trust” and “security” divisions — including its product policy manager Greg Anderson, who previously worked on “psychological operations” at the National Security Council, The Post has learned. Another is Matthew Williams, the company’s co-lead of its Trust and Safety department who spent more that 15 years in intelligence with the agency.

The discovery of the DC-to-Silicon Valley pipeline comes amid an outcry over revelations that the FBI influenced Twitter to suppress The Post’s account over its reporting on Hunter Biden’s overseas business interests in October 2020 and has regularly demanded specific accounts and tweets be banned

This is outrageous and totally incompatible with the America so many have fought and died for. We have become the USSR.

When a store or website appears to be something OTHER than what it REALLY is, these were once called ‘FAKE STORE FRONTS’ and the CIA are experts at this. That’s how the U.S. got the titanium from Russia for the SR-71 back in the 50’s !!!

These people usually go into security or consultation positions when they retire from the FBI so they can lend their expertise to their new employer while receiving a paycheck in addition to their retirement pay. When you have agents going to social media sites for employment while at the height of their career, they are not changing careers, they are simply going undercover, but still working for the government.

These agents/operatives might not still be on FBI/CIA/State pay-roll records (some enterprising journalist should check on that question), but they are still working for them. Was a portion of the funds the FBI paid to Twitter for payroll reimbursement?

The fact that there is so little outrage expressed by media, legal think tanks, and Constitutional attorneys generally, shows that most were aware of what was happening (the D.C. crowd has a very incestuous relationship so there are not really that many secrets in the legal world there) but accepted it since it benefited them to have these sources on the inside. Jonathan Turley has been the only attorney I’ve listened to or read that takes a strong stand for the First Amendment on the issue.

Since the agents were suppressing speech the left disagreed with anyway, they were all turning a blind eye to these Constitutional right violations. I can’t believe some of the excuses and white-wash the legal profession, both practicing attorneys and those in academia, have come up with to excuse these actions.

“...all turning a blind eye to these Constitutional right violations.” True. Everyone out of sync with the Ten Commandments and the US Constitution will regret it, big time.

Matt Taibbi pointed out that MSNBC has a lot of former CIA. There’s that ex-FBI guy who was defending the raid on Mar a Lago on MSNBC. I don’t know if he’s an employee.

“Everyone out of sync with the Ten Commandments and the US Constitution will regret it, big time.”

++++++++

And, as time goes on, you realize that too many people have no knowledge of either document nor from whence it came. We have failed as a nation in truly educating the generation that follows our own. We taught our children frivolous things and then sent them off, with no true knowledge, to be indoctrinated in a college institution where they learned to hate us and our country. Our children were told that our country is evil and that is what they are teaching our grandchildren (caveats do apply, of course).

The above is the main reason we are at the point on which we currently stand. It’s a tipping point and the next couple of years will be telling as to whether or not our nation can recover.

Because they were tasked to do so. Probably as a kind of secret agent. And they are probably being directly compensated by the government. They have most likely also been told they can return to their agencies later.
