Multiple aides who worked under President Biden during his last days as vice president in the Obama administration have been interviewed by federal investigators as part of their probe into the handling of classified documents.
The interviews were reported by NBC News, which spoke to two sources with knowledge of the investigation.
The questioning comes as Biden admitted Thursday that sensitive documents were found inside his Delaware garage — and after Monday’s revelation that 10 classified papers had been found on Nov. 2 of last year at Biden’s former think tank office in Washington.
Those interviewed by the feds include Kathy Chung, Biden’s former executive assistant and current deputy director of protocol for Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin.
“The people who were boxing [up the vice presidential office] had no idea that there was anything in there that shouldn’t leave the White House,” one source claimed to NBC. “There was no decision made to take certain documents that should have been presidential records or classified.

The DOJ conducts political investigations for two reasons
One, is to gather evidence of (usually process) crimes, to go after political opponents
The other is to find out exactly who knows what, what the risks are, understand the scope of a scandal - then suppress it.
Anything they do should be viewed as part of the latter.

And really, in their defence, who wouldn’t be surprised that classified material might be in the VP’s office. Wonder if they rented a storage space? Now there’s a Storage Wars episode!
What differentiates this from Trump's reprehensible behavior is that Trump personally hand-picked all the classified documents, personally filled 10,000 boxes with the docs, personally hand-loaded the truck, drove the truck to MAL, personally unloaded the truck, and personally moved the docs into his storage room. He did everything himself.
It can go either way..I am wondering if they’re trying to dump old Joe fast because they know the laptop investigation is forthcoming and just think of the names that will be exposed.
Either that or the deep state has decides Biden is no longer useful.

Just handling these documents without proper clearance is a Federal crime. Everyone who laid hands on them should be squeezed until they crack.

Didn’t the FBI already know about these unsecured classified documents for the past year, and only now acting upon this information? The conspiracy part of me makes me think they are only now coming forward because the deep state has decided it’s time to get rid of Biden. I just hope they got plans to get rid of Kamala as well, because she might even be worse than a senile and corrupt Biden.

I have 2 comments and a question that seem to be below the medias to ask.
1) It has been reported that these files have been there since the Obama administration left office.
2) The President says he doesn’t know what is in the files.
3) Then why would you send a lawyer that bills out at more then a thousand dollars an hour, to move boxes that have no significance.
All coincidence that these documents related to countries where Hunter and James Biden were making fortunes for The Big Guy.
