I do believe that it's possible that a "peace deal" could be reached. It would involve a reasonable accommodation of all parties.
It could NOT be reached by putting any party on the defensive without a graceful exit (Trump's typical way.) It could NOT be reached within 24 hours.
He could have kept it from happening in 2021.
But the whole thing is not amenable to easy fixes now.
Now he does not need to persuade leaders but peoples.
That is easy to say.
Can you back it up? Prove it?

I like to think that Trump would have kept us out of this war, but there will no peace in Ukraine. The Ukrainians don’t trust the Russians and the Russians certainly don’t trust the west any more.

Considering Trump called Putin “a genius” for invading Ukraine in the first place, one would assume his plan is to just hand it over. Done, apparently. Little else could be decided and announced in only 24 hours.
Mr Trump, Maybe you could broker a peace in Ukraine it will not be allowed to happen. The Uniparty, the Deep State, NATO, the WEF and other world leaders have pretty much decided that WWlll is the only way to curb inflation, stop ‘climate change’ and bring the world’s population into control.

If Trump had been in office this NEVER would have happened.
Hell, I thought it unlikely to happen even with Biden in office. But I clearly underestimated the ability of Biden and his puppet masters to screw things up or, more likely, underestimated their desire for a war to weaken the West and generate money for certain people.
I believe Trump can do it. Maybe it takes a week. But then the anti-Trumpers will shriek that , see ? He couldn’t do it in 24 hours.

Well, that is mutual. We don’t trust the Russians. That’s why Reagan espoused “Trust, but Verify.” Which, of course, is no trust at all. But it is exactly the way we need to deal with Russia. And, what’s with this Russia doesn’t trust the West “anymore?” Russia has never trusted the West. Russia has never trusted anyone. It is one of the most insecure and paranoid nations around.
A wise man once said — and it has been attributed to Otto von Bismarck — that he didn’t trust Russians because Russians didn’t trust themselves.
