Elon Musk has sensationally claimed the media is racist to white people and Asians as he voiced his support for disgraced 'Dilbert' comic strip creator Scott Adams.
Dozens of newspapers including the New York Times and Washington Post announced they were dropping the 'Dilbert' series this weekend following a racist tirade from Adams in which he urged his followers to 'get the f**k' away from black people.
But Twitter CEO Elon Musk appeared to back the shamed creator as he replied to a tweet about the controversy claiming 'the media is racist.'
'For a *very* long time, US media was racist against non-white people, now they’re racist against whites & Asians,' the 51-year-old billionaire explained.
'Same thing happened with elite colleges and high schools in America. Maybe they can try not being racist.'
Musk later commented 'exactly' in response to a tweet which claimed 'Adams' comments weren't good but there's an element of truth to this... it's complicated.'
It comes after The Washington Post, the New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, Boston Globe and the USA Today network all dropped the 'Dilbert' series from their pages following remarks made by Adams, who is believed to be worth $70 million.
Gannett, which publishes more than 100 newspapers in the US, also said it was dropping the series this weekend.

Lettme guess, the vast majority of people are going to simply form an opinion and not bother to listen to what Adams actual said.
Scott Adams now appears to be backtracking on what he said or trying to say he meant something else. I’m starting to think he’s just an attention seeking flake. Maybe that vaxx is messing with his brain.

I think he said what he meant, thinking it was a normal thing to say, because the people in his bubble agree with him. So he spoke his truth.
But only certain groups are allowed to speak "their truth."
To be fair what he said is probably what a lot of white people think. He seems a bit out of the loop if he didn’t anticipate some pretty negative feedback, so now he’s trying to mitigate the damage by telling everyone what a huge liberal he is, supports affirmative action, blah, blah, blah. I don’t follow him but wasn’t he supposed to be some conservative Trumper?
I’ve been listening to Scott Adams daily for an hour a day since 2020. What he said was that if polling shows only 50% of blacks think it’s “ok to be white,” then whites should “get the hell away from them.” Don’t hang around people who hate you in other words.
I know what Scott means, and for the most part, I agree, but his phrasing is heavy footed and left wide open to interpretation.
I guess that’s a risk he was willing to take.
Scott Adams has been ‘cancelled’ a couple of times before.
Yeah I saw the video and technically I wouldn’t say it was necessarily racist, but knew it would be portrayed that way. He probably could have expressed his thoughts better without the emotional tinge and just stated his point in a more objective manner and he could have avoided some of the criticism. Racial matters are best discussed leaving the emotional baggage aside. Welp Scott wanted to be provocative for attention, and attention is what he got.
He doesn’t seem to be back tracking. Shortly after his first tweet, he made this video which says about the same thing.

Haven’t seen the original context but did see him claim people should stay away from groups who are predisposed not to like them. Who knows what he’s up to.
I was referring to the show where he appeared with “Hotep Jesus” that I linked above.
Yes, his reverse peddle sounds lame. He says he supports every group doing what's in their interest. He said something like, "If black people are offered affirmative action, and they take advantage of it, I'm all for it."
I used to listen to his morning coffee blog. He wanted Kamala Harris to win the 2020 Democrat primary.
He also had some ideas for communal living (without calling it socialist/communism).
The man is a loon full of himself.
Could Mr. Musk's claim be "sensational" because it rings of truth? A claim that is patently untrue would be simply dismissed and unremarked upon.
I have met some former South Africans, Landsman of Elon Musk, who would agree. Perhaps the history of South Africa since the end of apartheid might be instructive for us Americans?
Adams said, about blacks, what the left, including naacp, blm, antifa and democrats have been saying about Whites, for years.
In fact, if you dig beneath the surface of this story you realize that it isn't blacks who are being defended. It is the Marxist masters who are using blacks as victims.
