The little boy was one of 3 kids being driven to school.
The driver was killed. The boy got the girls out and told them to run and hide in the woods. He was shot in the back, but managed to flag down a car that took them to safety

Nazi Germany had a convergence with Ukrainian nationalism.
Ukrainians did the work of Nazi Germany fighting on the battlefields and some even helped at the concentration camps.
