Some lunatics up the street have one of these yard signs.
They mow half the lawn and let rest grow.
They even put stakes in the ground to rope off the no mow area.
Insanity.
Goats would keep the grass nibbled low as well,but they are probably likely to jump over any fences or gates. Goats were born to jump and climb about.
I’m in favor of pet alpacas.

That was done in the Houston area with goats. It worked well until the goats started to go missing. The south of the border crowd really likes goat meat and boy, do we have a south of the border problem in Houston.

Plus the eat the emergent weeds before they go to seed and you won’t have any weeds the following year.
Then you can golf on it when their done.
