Tech titans throw shade at launch of new ‘Twitter Killer’, critics cry censorship out of the gates

Snip **********************************************

Part of what has made Musk’s Twitter so popular is it’s a free-speech zone where all free speech is tolerated so long as it doesn’t violate the law. Zuckerberg’s platforms, on the other hand, appear to be safe spaces where only state-sanctioned opinions and facts may be openly shared.

With this in mind, Fox News’s Brian Kilmeade warned the network’s watchers on Thursday about using the new app. Speaking on Fox News’s “Fox & Friends,” he reminded everybody that Facebook has a record of working with the government to silence free speech.

“Mark Zuckerberg’s trying to get you again. Does anyone think he’s not going to collect all of you, pull [you] away from Twitter, and then begin to manipulate again?” he said.

Moreover, reports have already emerged of Threads censoring allegedly offensive content such as the facts about biological science:

Threads is not the place for conservatives, except to boycott it!

I would not be surprised AT ALL to learn that Zuckerberg started Threads with $$$ hundreds of millions from Dept of Homeland Security, or some other kind of direct input/assistance.

Yup. Look at this link:

Biden administration seeks stay of judge’s social media order, saying it could cause ‘grave harm’

From source: In their filing Thursday night with the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Louisiana, attorneys led by Principal Deputy Assistant Attorney General Brian M. Boynton called the order “ambiguous.” They said it could prevent the Biden administration from “speaking on matters of public concern and working with social media companies on initiatives to prevent grave harm to the American people and our democratic processes.”

You can make big bucks selling out your fellow Americans and ushering in a dictatorship.

I got the vibe Musk hasn't been worried, that he anticipated it would be like this. All he has to do is what he's been doing, keep Twitter steady and balanced as possible and things will shake out.

There is no ambiguity in the order. Instead it is created in this fraudulent conjoining of two disparate ideas. The judge's order specifically carves out the right of the government to provide public information. Seperatetly it prohibits the exact activities after the and - e.g working with social media companies on initiatives to [what turned out to be according the substantial evidence providied in 20,000 pages of government document attained int discovery] to be an "Orwellian" effort to suppress free speech.
