WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The White House said it did not support Ukraine launching attacks inside Russia after two drones from Ukraine damaged buildings in Moscow earlier on Monday.
"As a general matter we do not support attacks inside of Russia," White House spokesperson Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters in a press briefing.
Russia vowed to take harsh retaliatory measures against Ukraine, calling the two drone strikes, including one close to the Defence Ministry's headquarters, a brazen act of terror.
"This is a war that Russia started. This is their war," Jean-Pierre said. "And they can end it at any time by withdrawing forces from Ukraine instead of launching brutal attacks on civilians."

My arm chair quarter backing says that Ukraine needs to focus on destroying Russian equipment, supplies and personnel inside of the borders of Ukraine. If they concentrate on destroying the army, territory will follow.

Sometimes the racism behind the Ukranian trolling effort really shines through the incessant propaganda. There are days when a Ukie troll insists all Russians are filthy pigs and need to be shot. There's your post - Russians would shoot someone because...well, Russia.
That shines through in the trash propaganda - wherein the Ukrainians are insisting Russia was targeting hospitals. I recall the early efforts in the war where the trolls were insisting that the Russians were torturing, raping, pilaging - it's not like they had a military mission. They were falsely portrayed as sociopaths tormenting for sport.
So it makes sense to you with someone ofyour mindset to say people would be shot because that's what Russians do. Others, myself included, think there's a war going on and actions on both sides are primarily militarily useful and being undertaken by people who know they may die if they don't perform those military functions, or do so incorrectly. I know there are war crimes - the Ukrainians, for example, filmed themselves executing Russian POW's with a bullet to the back of the head. Where there are war crimes - punish.
Just don't expect me to sign on to your sick view that the Ukraine's enemies are genetically mindless killers.
