Speaker McCarthy Humiliates Reporter in Tense Exchange About Biden Impeachment

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy brutally savaged a reporter who questioned if there was any evidence to warrant an impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden. There are almost no words to describe how comical this is, as if there was any evidence to support the impeachment of former President Donald Trump. There was no evidence of Russian collusion, which turned out to be a hoax, the real big lie, and nothing to support the equally shoddy quid pro quo allegation regarding Ukraine aid and investigations into the Biden family.

Great job, spoke to them like a teacher, or at least what teachers used to be when they tried to get you to reason things through.

The “reporter” has locked her twitter account.

They can’t take the heat when they’re caught lying.

We need more of this.

Biden will be 25th before they allow him to be removed for corruption.

Either that or dem reps and senators will pay him a visit and explain (using short words) how he needs to resign for the sake of the party.

Removal by the 25th requires, if the President disagrees, a 2/3rds vote in both houses of Congress to enthrone Kamala. This will take some time and will be messy.

I think that there are a lot of angles to this, all of which ultimately work to the Dems’ benefit, and leave us/conservatives cursing while whiffing on yet another kick at the football.

It could come down to assuring Slow Joe that they’ll cover for Hunter and cook up a passable story about his declining health - but not senility or incompetence - that will allow him to bow out with dignity and grace for the good of the country. (Just threw up in my mouth a little…)

They’ll never admit what anybody with an objective mind sees - a nasty, delusional pathological liar who has exhibited more corruption than any single politician in the history of our country.

So Kevin - if you truly believe there is overwhelming evidence why are you not ‘immediately’ bringing impeachment articles to Congress for a vote? Why the continued foot dragging?

More or less how they got Nixon to resign. His most loyal supporters came to him and said "we don't have the votes". Though in this case it's not a question of the votes, just they don't want to have to spend the campaign season defending Biden.

I am wondering if RFKj will jump ship and run as Reform party or other party. That would make things very tenuous for Biden, or his replacement. If 11,000 votes in one state makes the difference...

McCarthy, so far, has handled the Biden investigations properly. That’s not to say he may not let us down in the future. But so far, I can’t fault him on his handling of this particular issue. This is an information war, and as Andrew Breitbart used to emphasize, the way that it’s rolled out to the public can have an enormous effect on how it’s received by them.

Starting an impeachment inquiry now, when so much new and damning evidence has become public, makes more sense than doing so right out of the gate, back in January, would have. Now when the left challenges the legitimacy of such a move, Republicans can easily respond.

If you move prematurely, critics can more easily sway the public into believing there’s no there, there. Once the public gets that into their minds, it’s a lot harder to regain their attention when newer, more compelling evidence is uncovered.

If the Democrats think they can solve their Biden problem by simply ditching Biden at this point, I think they’re being overly optimistic. Whether he leaves office willingly or not, whether he leaves due to the scandals or because of health issues, distancing themselves from Biden will be very difficult.

The entire Democrat/Media complex has been unanimously defending Biden for the last three years, whether it’s been against charges of cognitive decline and health, or corruption allegations. That will not be an easy thing to explain away.

I suspect that Biden’s team is already working to prevent that, securing support whatever way that works. He’s going to have enough votes in the Senate to survive impeachment, and the clock is ticking. If Biden doesn’t step down soon, it messes up the primary calendar. If he holds out for another six months, Democrats in Congress may figure that they won’t be able to get rid of him.

Nope. The investigators in the House want to time this right. I predict that not mush will happen before the Dem convention to name Biden as their candidate.

The media will NEVER admit Biden is a crook. What we need to do though is get through the noise to the public.
