My life experience, and I don’t want anyone to think I am that smart or wise, but when intelligent people, with time to think, do contrarian things, it’s usually about money. Sometimes it’s other things like mental illness, threats, blackmail, but usually it’s about money.
Most Universities have taken large amounts of money from China, much of it undeclared. That money supports institutions and professors in the life style they have become accustomed to. The young students, looking for a door into the corporate world, connections, success, and positive reinforcement of good grades will parrot what the professor wants to hear.
So, the question is what is China (the hand) telling its glove to do? I think historically this is simple. China supported the PLO. China has taken adversarial approach to The United States about Israel, since it’s been convenient to do so.
I have seen this slowly evolving over the last 20 years, infusion of destabilizing ideas into the educational system, and promotion of those youths that accept it. Timing of this brushfire was certainly coordinated with Putin and the Ayatollah in Iran. This wasn’t an event, this was a planned strategic move, obviously related to the war in Ukraine.
This action, and spending of capital, by China should tell you that potentially Russia is in deeper trouble than we think in Ukraine, which looks more like a stalemate to me.

Your connection of dots is very hard to argue with. Notice also in your last 20 year timeframe:
- America hating obama thrust into the American political leadership
- America cozying up with anti-Israel nations and funding them (obama/Iran) + (biden/Iran)
- Someone is behind the "creation" of obama and that entity sought to destroy America
The China linkage is plausible in a great deal of our national demise.
