IMO the authors are out of touch with reality. I don’t believe universities have an anti-semitism problem. They have a Marxism problem. They aren’t treating Jews any differently than they do any group they believe belongs in the bourgeoisie.
Marxists have a different culture. There are no wrong actions, only wrong people. That’s why they have no problem with the millions dead under communism. Ask them, the Soviets were OK because they killed people for political reasons.
So the answer for the authors is that Universities don’t see what was done to Israel was wrong because it was done people they consider part of the proletariat. Nothing Israel does can be right because it’s done by the bourgeoisie.
Most professors, administrators and staff at such universities, are secular. They are NOT Christian or Jewish, so do not believe in the Bible or Tanakh. As such, it is easy for satan to weave his lies amongst them.
Jews are God’s chosen people and Christians are grafted on the Jewish root. satan loathes God, so he loathes Christians and Jews. satan, in his hatred of God’s chosen people, plants lies of Israel and America (as the chief evangelizing people) being ‘evil’ or supporting ‘evil’.
