The Islamic monsters knew the Kibbutz people were generally unarmed. That is why they attacked. We might be on the door steps of World War 3 because the Israeli government supporetd gun control against their own people. How did that work out for them,..and the rest of us?

The author is certainly correct in that Israeli citizens need to be armed. But there is a big problem. Roughly 18% of Israelis are Muslim. Is their first loyalty to Israel, or to their Jew-hating religion? I think we all know the answer to that.

So do you only arm Jewish Israelis? Would such a law pass the Knesset?

The problem is that Israel is 18% muslim. I would not want to arm potential jihadis.

I would tie gun rights to military service in the IDF, which would eliminate most muslims. Veterans should have rights to own/carry any weapon they wish. This includes muslims who served in the IDF.

Is it possible that it isn’t typical lib crappola about guns but that they simply can’t trust certain segments of their citizenry to fight on the right side in an invasion type scenario? I have never seen anyone official argue there is a tactical demographic reason, although maybe it’s something they wouldn’t like to admit publicly. Is it something that just isn’t talked about or what?

They accept foreign military aid for their high-tech weapon systems, but it seems like allowing their populace to effectively arm themselves would be a pretty cheap way to at least have a fighting chance when people with rifles are at the door.

I think if the PM of Israel had stated, for whatever reason, the Israeli’s were short of rifles and asked for donations of AR-15 in 5.56 in good condition, with between a 14.5 and 16 inch barrel and 100 rounds of ammunition; there would be 1 million rifles and 100 million rounds of ammunition headed to Israel right now.

Lots of people have inexpensive but reliable AR’s is new or nearly new condition they could part with.

And each should have have a card that say’s, “The next time a left-wing Jew says American Christians are antisemites, remember it was American Christians that gave you a rifle when you were attacked. Not the ADL.”

Right now, the Israeli government ought to procure a sufficient number of handguns to equip all adult citizens, with training.

Jews tend to be "progressive" and progressives tend to be authoritarians and totalitarians. That's why they don't want people to own their own firearms.

It's no different than an abusive boyfriend not wanting his girlfriend to own a weapon. It cramps his style, authority, and control.
