Saw mention of this in the last hour. It has supposedly been burning for about 12 hours.
One post mentioned a helicopter fire.
There is a reason that the USN practices fire drills continuously (at least, they used to), and that is that an effective fire brigade can save a ship from disaster.

Yep, now those drills have been replaced by BLM Lectures and Drag Queen shows, so God help us if there’s a fire on one of our naval vessels.

two of the many jobs my dad had.. one was in the navy and the other was at a oil refinery. Everyone was part of the fire brigade. and on several occasions he fought some fires.
