Survey: Trump Trounces Biden in Head-to-Head Matchup

Former President Donald Trump is trouncing President Biden in a head-to-head matchup, a McLaughlin & Associates survey reveals.

The survey asked respondents, “Now, if the 2024 Presidential election were held today, which one of the following best describes how you would vote in the general election for President between Donald Trump, the Republican candidate and Joe Biden, the Democrat candidate, for whom would you vote?”

Trump leads Biden in a head-to-head matchup by six points — 49 percent to the 81 year old’s 43 percent. Of Trump’s 49 percent, 37 percent said they would “definitely” support him,” and of Biden’s 43 percent, 31 percent said they would “definitely” support him. Another nine percent across the board remain undecided — more than enough to swing the rein either direction.

What if Mister Biden has no plans to actually run (which I strongly suspect?) and the Dems run a younger, more attractive and likable candidate?

With or without the extra 12 million new voters. Oh, they’re not allowed to vote? Oh, okay. 🧐

Real question is, how does Trump do against “Voter Fraud?”

As the Dem candidate, “Voter Fraud” seems to defy the odds and usually wins.

Never understood in 2020 and don’t understand today 11 months from the election all the belief that Biden isn’t going to run. Ballot deadlines are passing and he’s in however little he campaigns. The other day he said the argument that he’s too old to run is “stupid”.

I loathe these polls. Remember 2022?

Trump is starting to break 50% in many polls. In my experience, once people start supporting Trump, they don’t go back. So the door might be closing for good on Pedo Joe

It doesn’t matter - it’s not even 2024 yet and it’s a massive stretch that Biden runs. And if by some wizardry and sorcery he does, the polls will magically tighten showing him with a lead before election. But polls can’t be believed.

Newsom will be the dim nominee.

Take it to the bank.

Sorry, not enough to overcome voting fraud.

Quite possibly.

Also consider Ms. Harris on top (of the ticket) and Mr. Newsom as the veep.

Optics, optics, optics.

The world doesn’t work like that.

It is Independents that are generating the lead for Trump. They are not Democrats who are displeased. Those people have already left for RFK. These are Independents who largely don’t care about the following:

1) Taxes and Spending
2) Abortion
3) Energy Policy

What they DO care about is populism. They embrace drain the Swamp. They embrace Build the Wall. There has always been on FR a bizarre presumption that Independents are so profoundly fence sitting that they could not decide if they cared to lean left or right.

That is not Independents. Independents reject elitism. It mostly comes down to that. Trump has tapped into that. They know the Swamp is trying to convict Trump and thereby sidestep voters. They see it happening.

This, populism, is ascendant. You could replace Biden with the most physically attractive bright smiling elite you like and if that replacement does not embrace drain the Swamp, the votes will go elsewhere.

My money’s on either Governor Hair Gel or The Wookie being the nominee next year.
