A New York lawmaker wants the federal government to push a $14 trillion reparations measure.

The measure is touted by “Squad” member Rep. Jamaal Bowman, D-N.Y., who wants the federal government to be held accountable for slavery and the aftermath of it, according to the Journal News.

Bowman cited the federal government’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the “space race” endeavor as examples that would make the measure feasible.

“When COVID was destroying us, we invested in the American people in a way that kept the economy afloat,” said Bowman. “The government can invest the same way in reparations without raising taxes on anyone.”

In a way, she’s right. You could afford to pay $trillions in ‘reparations’ to blacks, who were never slaves, by making slaves of whites, who were never slave holders. The morality of that was apparently never considered.

Wealthy elite families owned slaves and benefited financially from slavery.

Let them pay reparations.

Fourteen trillion dollars is one hell of an investment just to start American Civil War II. Jamaal and his braindead goons really need to think ahead and explore the repercussions of what this “reparations” crap is going to cause. Friggin’ morons.

“The bill cites scholars’ estimates that the US benefited from over 222 trillion hours of forced labor between 1619 and the end of slavery in 1865...”

The United States did not exist until 1776, about, so he will have to go back to the African tribal leaders who sold the slaves to the slavers.

“which would be valued at $97,000,000,000,000 today.”

He, of course, pulled that straight out of his ass.

“The economy wouldn’t exist in the way it does today if slavery hadn’t built it.”

The economy that slavery built, mostly in the South, was completely destroyed by the Civil War.

Also, Northern workers, who vastly outnumbered the number of slaves in the South, built the economy in the North.

Reparations paid in Human Sacrifice. 1861-1865.

Over 700,000 dead
tens of thousands of eyes, arms legs, homes, lively hoods lost.

WE today owe nothing a s WE never owned slaves.

Ask the Mexicans in California what they think about reparations to blacks.

Mexicans will soon be running the USA and blacks will be serving the drug cartels. Just like the way Dominicans treat Haitians. It’s coming to the USA. Embrace the suck.

“In 1860, the year before the American Civil War started, the U.S. Government debt was $64.8 million. Once the war began, debt grew quickly. The financial cost of the war was significant, totaling an estimated $5.2 billion.”

“By the end of the war in 1865, Government debt had exploded, reaching $2.6 billion. That was more than 40 times what it was only five years earlier at $65 million.”

The liberation of the slaves cost more than what they ever produced.

There is also the matter of the Union dead and wounded. They paid the highest price.

Before that happen, she and all the other Demoncrats ... I mean Democrats should confess that they were behind the Civil War, Jim Crow, the KKK and Segregation in the South and make appropriate reparations themselves.
