My wife is from Illinois and has a lot of relatives still living there.

The senior citizens have basically given up and just stay and bitch about their taxes and criminals in charge of the state.

Many of the younger ones get a good job or trade and move to Indiana or Iowa or ???.

The older ones, if able, physically and financially often go to Floriduh or Texas for the winter.
