The Texas Military Department posted a photo to its official X account Tuesday afternoon, showing the Gonzales flag flying above its headquarters in Austin.

The flag, which reads “Come and Take It” underneath an image of a cannon, is the best-known flag of the Texas Revolution and originated at the Battle of Gonzales, according to the Texas Historical Commission. In the post on X, it’s shown flying below the Texas flag at Camp Mabry.

No message was posted with the photo. The post had garnered more than 20,000 views about an hour after it went online.

Awesome, if only we had every state turning against these domestic enemy occupiers in D.C. deliberately destroying this country.

Goading the Fed into something, isn’t a great idea > IMO.

Texas is doing what it should be, but I don’t want to see
this president and his puppeteer pushed into trying to
save face, when they are about as wrong as they could be.

31 of them did come and take it. They surrendered to the Guard who gave them all court dates in 2031. By then, they’ll all have 7 cute little “anchors” so why the hell FRIGGIN’ BOTHER???

Now it flies for the Battle of Eagle Pass.

Yeah. And there’s a heckuva big, old, hangin’ tree still standing there by the courthouse....just waiting. They used to “decorate” that thing with 10-15 bad boys all at once back in the old days. There’s a whole big bunch of traitors in our government that would look pretty darn good “decorating” it in this day and age too....wishful thinking.

IMHO if there’s ever a time to “goad the Fed”, particularly the Executive Branch, it’s during a presidential election year. And particularly with Texas being on the side of the issue that’s the most popular.

Rolling over and spreading your cheeks and begging the Fed to be gentle is not a better option.

The fed already blinked.

As long as we can withstand the folding and capitulating GOP elite we’ll be alright.

For those that don’t know, Fort Mabry is the HQ to both the Texas National Guard, AND the Texas State Guard. The Texas State guard would be REALLY hard for the Feds to nationalize, as they are essentially a Military created solely by Texas. Yes, states CAN have their own militaries! BTW, the are well-regulated and controlled (fits the definition of the US constitution)

I have always wondered why I wanted us to move to Texas in 1966. I’m so thankful we came here and my descending relatives are Texans!

Texans don’t have to be born there, remember the Alamo.
