The Texas Department of Public Safety has made over 39,000 criminal arrests, apprehended more than 480,000 migrants in the country illegally, deterred more than 95,000 illegal entries, engaged in more than 4,300 bailouts and filed more than 19,000 charges for smuggling, according to the governor.
The Texas National Guard has also turned back more than 90,000 people who were trying to cross the border illegally, Abbott said.
The combination of those measures has proven successful at trimming the number of people crossing into the US through the state.
“The results are amazing,” Abbott told reporters.

It’s sad that border states are being forced to take on what is one of the few legitimate responsibilities of the federal government, especially when neighboring border states under Democrat misrule refuse to do so, but huge credit to Abbott for doing this. This guy is my new governor, and he’s a huge upgrade from my last governor (Gavin Newsom).

Infamous border wall? Whose words were those? Abbot’s? Unlikely. So why would the Post describe the wall as infamous when the rest of the article paints Abbott’s construction efforts in a positive light? Rhetorical question.
You are full of crap, trying to piggyback desanctomonuious on Abbott accomplishments. Truth is desanctomonious tried to use Florida as tool to take out Trump. Desanctomonious promised he would do his job as governor. But after the election, immediately abandoned his duties to do the bidding of the deep state and take Trump out. He failed, just he has completely failed as governor of Florida. Hell, I can afford to insure my house or car, and I’m in the center of the state. Desanctomonious was/is completely derelict in his duties. He was only able to do that thanks to anti-Trump POSs like you.

the day after he was elected Trump could have told Ryan and Turtle, I need 5 billion for a border wall have it done by Jan 21. That would have been 2017. If it is not done I will declare and emergency and move money around to pay for it.
This is what Trump actually did two years later. Had he moved sooner, he might have completed the wall or a much more significant portion of it.
I believe this next term he will start early. i think the court cases are already out of the way. In 4 years we may see a completed wall./
On another note once Trump is elected you can set down and have a cold Bud Light, Trump said it is ok now
