Raising the minimum wage would be easily absorbed by big corporations but smaller businesses still struggling to recover from the Covid idiocy would go under.

What I DO favor is taxing corporations for every employee that has to rely on welfare or food stamps to get by and make that tax more expensive than paying the employees. This would give the woke corporations a nice dose of socialism and recoup some of the welfare money that is paid out.
