I still remember when our county had NO VD at all. That was about 1960. Within 15 years everyone I knew who had picked up an Oklahoma state line and county line bar skank came down with VD.
In the USAF our unit was tasked with investigating the airmen that were diagnosed at the hospital with VD...most cases were blacks or women that slept with black men. Some were women that slept with black men then white men. The benefits of having that job was knowing which women to avoid at the clubs.
