"If the Americans don't give money and weapons, along with the Europeans, then the war is over. And if the Americans don't give money, the Europeans alone are unable to finance this war. And then the war is over."
He added that Mr Trump had "pretty detailed plans" on how to end the Russia-Ukraine war - but did not elaborate.

Bizarre comment. Russia and Ukraine were both part of the Soviet Union for Reagan’s entire life in politics.
And as soon as the SU ended, Ukraine got the hell out and made it clear they wanted nothing to do with Russia ever again

My point is that Reagan didn’t seem to care any more about Ukrainians than Trump does.

One thing is rather sure. Ukraine cannot win. Russia will never leave the conquered eastern provinces. The best Ukraine can hope for is a negotiated settlement. Trump would be the best person to carry that out.
I do not see how Orbán’s statement would help in that regard, as it gives Russia hope for a complete victory. But who knows? Maybe it’s meant to wake the Ukrainian leaders up.
Disclaimer: I have no dog in this Ukraine/Russia conflict. There are no good guys (leaders) on either side.

Trump must never be President! He will give Ukraine to Putin! The Ruzzian sub human Orks will win by default. A Mass evacuation will see Millions of Freedom loving Ukrainians flee west before the Ruzzian T-90 Tanks.They have no choice. Stay and become part of the “New, Greater Ruzzian Empire” and Czar Putin or die! How many will end up in Siberia? The blood of Ukraine will be on Trumps fingers and Lips? Think of all the Ukraine heroes who died in vain? No Ruzzian monuments for them! A sad day for Europe and humanity if Putin wins.
