Gary Sinise Honors WWII Vets with a Trip of a Lifetime

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0wUC8Kej038

When Gary Sinise started his “Soaring Valor” program he not only wanted to honor and show gratitude to the Greatest Generation, but also ensure that their legacy is known by our future generations. Several times each year, the #garysinisefoundation takes WWII veterans alongside high school students together to the @wwiimuseum in New Orleans. In this way, our young citizens can connect directly with their past and realize fully the price of freedom.

Comments below the video:

“I can NOT love this enough. THANK YOU Gary and your entire foundation. My dad served in WWII, First Division Marine, “sharp shooter” with “shell shock” yet the most humble man. He joined as soon as he could. Even though he lost his brother, while his other brother actually saw him on the ground not knowing it was him. He was in the CCC’s I still have his “yearbook” which was in the DIA. I have his Cookbook from being on a battleship because that was HIS job on the ship. Thank You for bringing in our Young Ones to learn. “

Gary Sinise Welcomes Our Vietnam Veterans
Home

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IqBjRaJnpec

Comments below the video:

“THANK YOU to our Vietnam vets who answered the call and bravely went into harm’s way and gave us an example to live up to. We in the younger generations can learn a lot from your courage and dignity.”

“My brother-in-law died of cancer. No help at times. Actually nothing. He figured he couldn’t ask for any. Since he was exposed to chemicals etc apparently it was his fault. He tried to forget. Didn’t call attention to himself. Tough guy he was.”
