I don’t have a colander and don’t have enough hands to pull off getting a shot with one. LOL It does work quite well though.
I wanted to get a shot or two after the maximum when the crescents wouldn’t be so slivery, but the clouds moved right back in and that was all she wrote. I got lucky to see what I saw. Still have my glasses from the 2017 eclipse.

I wish I could have taken off to get under the path this time. It’s such an awesome experience. At least I’ve gotten to see one total eclipse and that has to suffice.

Well, you got some really great crescents! I didn’t even know there was such a thing , but when Mark was here for our partial eclipse last year, he had a camera set up to get a video of them through a tree on our university parking lot. I thought is was so cool. I really had never paid that much attention to eclipses. Mark’s enthusiasm was contagious. :) He loves anything weather-related.

Steve had a great stream on the eclipse today. He used footage from NASA and other sources to show the progression from the time it first hit land in Mazatlan Mexico until it was completely over in Burlington, VT. Kinda fun.
