Yep, he did fins a couple of smelly spots yesterday. We didn't see too much of darkness from the eclipse yesterday.

From the videos I saw it looked like night in Dallas Texas for awhile then back to sun again. We were not in the path of totality but it did feel a little bit like morning than it did afternoon here.

It was fun to watch on TV though. We saw the eclipse from a number of places on Youtube.(telescope version with no commentary courtesy NASA)

If there’s a smelly spot, he’ll find it. LOL

It didn’t get too dark here, either, but it was still cool to watch what we got. It was about the same as you got. I wasn’t sure if we’d see the sun at all but the clouds opened up for maybe a half hour at just the right time, then we lost sight of the sun again.
I did see a little of the totality on tv when I came back in and I envied the folks who were in the path. I would have loved to have experienced it again but at least I’ve gotten to experience it once, and I’ll never forget it.
